Authorization is layered: an active partnership membership establishes the role, and aircraft-level access narrows what the person can do with each aircraft.

  1. 1

    Understand Owner/Admin

Owners manage partnership settings, members, roles, aircraft configuration, and other administrative workflows. Maintain at least two trusted owners when practical.

  2. 2

    Understand Maintenance Manager

This role supports aircraft-health coordination but still operates within aircraft-specific permissions.

  3. 3

    Understand Partner/Member

Members can use workflows allowed by their aircraft access and the partnership settings.

  4. 4

    Review aircraft access independently

A partnership role does not automatically imply the same access to every aircraft. Review visibility, scheduling/operating, maintenance, and qualification context per aircraft.

  5. 5

    Test with the actual role

After changing access, confirm the member can reach required workflows and cannot reach restricted aircraft or records.
