1. What these technologies are
A cookie is a small value stored by a browser and returned to a website. Local storage keeps a preference on the device without sending it on every request. Similar mobile storage can maintain authenticated sessions and settings in the iOS application.
2. Technologies currently used
Maintains the signed-in browser session, active partnership context, and security state. Configured as HTTP-only and SameSite; production can require secure HTTPS transport.
Allows authorized session continuity for the configured duration and is protected with browser cookie controls.
Protects state-changing browser forms against cross-site request forgery.
Local browser storage remembers light or dark appearance. It is not used to track activity across websites.
The iOS app uses device-protected storage for its API session token and related application state.
3. Analytics and advertising
AirplaneHQ does not currently describe any cross-site advertising cookies in the product configuration. If non-essential analytics, marketing pixels, session replay, or advertising technology is introduced, this Notice and consent controls will be updated before use where required.
4. Your controls
You can delete cookies and local storage through browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will prevent browser sign-in or break security-sensitive workflows. Removing local preferences may reset appearance. Signing out ends the active application session according to the Service’s session behavior.
5. Changes
This Notice will be updated when cookie purposes, providers, retention, or consent requirements change.
