Local OCR extracts searchable text and proposes conservative matches. Optional AI can improve structure and handwriting interpretation. Neither is authoritative.

  1. 1

    Understand processing

Committed pages are analyzed in the background. Local OCR runs without a paid API; optional AI runs only when configured.

  2. 2

    Inspect the source region

Compare highlighted text with the page image. OCR may confuse characters, dates, hours, part numbers, signatures, or handwritten notes.

  3. 3

    Edit the draft

Correct the label, region, type, description, target, and rationale before acceptance.

  4. 4

    Confirm the target

Verify the proposed maintenance requirement or completion belongs to the same aircraft and is actually supported by the source.

  5. 5

    Accept, dismiss, or undo

Accept only supported evidence. Dismiss irrelevant suggestions. Undo an acceptance when the evidence relationship was wrong.
